Electronic Immigration Report for Korea

Foreigners can enter Korea quickly and conveniently by filling out and submitting an immigration report online from 3 days before arrival.

Korea Electronic Immigration Report website

The Electronic Immigration Report website (web) is operated so that you can fill out and submit your immigration report online.

*Available in 7 languages: Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, and Russian (no fee)

Eligibility and Procedures

In principle, all foreigners entering Korea are required to submit an Immigration Notification Form (E-IN) (same as paper Immigration Notification Form).

* Foreigners who have completed alien registration (including permanent resident card holders and domestic residence declarants), group (electronic) visa holders, foreigners with a valid electronic travel authorization (K-ETA), and airline crew members do not need to file.

Can be submitted from 3 days before arrival in Korea.

→Valid if not entered by 72 hours after submission

If your arrival date is on Saturday, March 29th, you can submit the electronic immigration report on Thursday, March 27th, Friday, March 28th, and Saturday, March 29th, for a total of 3 days (Korea Standard Time).

Reporting Methods and Procedures

- How to Report Immigration

You can fill out an individual or group electronic immigration report.

The menu of the Electronic Immigration Report website is divided into “Electronic Immigration Report” for each individual and “Group Immigration Report” that can be entered in bulk as a group, so it can be filled out according to the number of declarant.

The “Group Electronic Immigration Report” provides a batch input function, so you only need to enter common information such as purpose of entry, destination, and flight name once.

- Report Items

The E-portal entry form consists of the following items.

Passport information (name, date of birth, nationality, gender, passport number and expiration date), arrival information (expected date of arrival, flight name and vessel name), departure information (expected date of departure, flight name and vessel name), purpose of entry, intended place of stay and contact information, and occupation.

However, the departure flight and vessel names are optional.

You do not need to submit a paper entry declaration, and the effect of the electronic entry declaration is the same as that of a paper entry declaration.
